Dearest Parker United Methodist Church,

I am sending you warm greetings in the name of our savior Jesus christ! From the Kasongo family, from my local church of Kingasani!
Construction is underway, Clara’s Kids are about to have a safe haven, a place to call home, because of Parker United Methodist Church serving beyond the church wall, showing mercy to the strangers like myself!! Praise the Lord!! You are doing what Jesus asks us to do “which is to love our neighbors and even those who are different from us.”

Bricks are being made by hands at this point. The engineer and his two helpers are working hard and my children and I will be with them to help them in anyway that we can!! The foundation work will start as soon as bricks are dry!

Professor Jacqueline, the Engineer and my sister Annie Kasongo Llunga are in charge of overseing day to day operations of the construction since I must serve my local church and do pastoral care daily. Words cannot express our excitement and gratitude!! We will continue to share the updates and pictures every step of the way! We must share this celebration with you. Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do so for my family and I!
