THIS SATURDAY – Parker Task Force Food Collection

We are collecting food for the Parker Task Force at the Parker Walmart this Saturday. We have two shifts available 10-12 and 12-2. Grab a friend and choose one to help with! (I will sign high school volunteer hour sheets!) I encourage everyone to gather for food and fellowship in Subway either before or after your shift with other youth! CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP!

All are Invited to the Breakthrough Prayer Workshop THIS SUNDAY

PARENTS & YOUTH – We’ve flown in an outstanding speaker to lead us in this incredible Breakthrough Prayer that PUMC has been embarking upon. Call the church (303-841-3979) to RSVP you or your family. April and a few other youth will be in attendance. Come join us and help lead the church on this amazing journey! Only $10 for materials and dinner, from 2-6:30 Sunday afternoon (and there’s NO Bronco game!)

Trunk or Treat Fun! Oct. 28th

Parents – while youth are helping with games – signup for Trunk or Treat and join the fun! Decorate your trunk (and maybe yourselves) and Noelle provides candy to hand out to our trick or treaters! If you’d like to participate PLEASE CLICK HERE to let her know your car will be there, so we have enough spaces. The Youth will be participating in Trunk or Treat by dressing in (appropriate for church and young children) costumes and helping run games for our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat!

We’re Selling Gift Cards to Help YOU Get to Alaska!

Raise money specifically to decrease YOUR cost for the Alaskan trip! We are embarking on a new fundraising venture by selling gift cards through ShopWithScrip.com. Stores make so much money from selling gift cards, and so can we! Stop by the Scrip table this Sunday and then tell your friends and family (even out of state) to purchase gift cards for YOUR OWN account and deduct money from your bottomline cost! We’ll be having a meeting soon to learn more about this, but for now – stop by the table and order gift cards. You pay face value and receive face value. These companies give back rebates!

Get Your T-Shirts THIS SUNDAY!

Stop by the Narthex to pick up and pay for your youth shirt – especially if you’re collecting food for the Parker Task Force this Saturday. Let’s represent! Shirts are $10 – stop by or swing by the church office and pick yours up! I have extras if you didn’t order. So just swing by!

Confirmation Classes 2019

Children are not full members of the church until they decide for themselves to join the church after learning about the Methodist religion through classes. At Parker UMC, these classes are for students in 7th grade (or older). The Confirmation Class of 2019 will begin on Sunday, January 13th and run through the end of April. Each month we will have one Sunday off. (Students will receive a full schedule on the first day of class, or you can email me if you need it prior: [email protected]) I do try to make this fun, reflective and interesting for the youth. We will meet each Sunday from 10:45 – 12:00 in room 137. Confirmation Sunday will be April 28th. TO REGISTER, email April and give her the student’s name, grade, parents’ names, and a good phone number (and email address if you would call).
