Denver Homeless Mission update:

Many thanks to everyone who donated hats, scarves, gloves, socks and other items for our Denver Homeless mission event recently.  On Sunday, 2/19 along with members from Tapestry UMC we made up several homeless care bags including water, juice, granola bars/snacks, hygiene items, etc. as well as made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to distribute to those in need at Civic Center park in downtown Denver.  We were able to provide food and warm items for several people at the park–they were all so polite and appreciative as they found just that right hat.  It was an amazing afternoon getting to talk with so many people not only in need of the items we provided, but also in need of an encouraging and caring connection with others.  It truly was a blessing for all involved!
