Thanks to everyone who donated toys for the Turkeys & Toys mission!   This past Sunday, we were able to deliver over 200 items to the Denver Inner City Parish (DICP).  These, along with other donations, will be distributed on Friday, 12/18as part of their 37th Annual Holiday Gift Giveaway–the event is to give the gift of Christmas to families in need.  The Parish hopes to serve over 1.000 families this year.  DICP focuses on the growing number of working families living in poverty in Colorado with their ultimate goal being to strengthen Denver’s working poor community members so they become more self-sufficient and are equipped with the skills to break the cycle of poverty in their families, neighborhoods and communities.
