Greetings on this Resurrection Day,
May your journey, from the beginning of Lent through the celebration of our Lord’s resurrection, continue to bring insights and understandings in the days to come. Remember- every morning is Easter Morning!
Due to some changes in our PUMC committees, the Nominations Committee is looking for those who are willing to step forward into a leadership position of our church. We would like to have a few more knowledgeable financial persons to be on our Endowment Committee; a few more people-loving members on the Nominations and Leadership Committee; and the beginnings of a Memorial Committee who would give oversight and thanks to all those giving memorial gifts to PUMC. It is always a good thing to have new people with fresh ideas and new eyes to observe our church’s un-going work. Are you one of those who is being called to step forward and be involved in a new way? Talk to Mel in the office or give me a call.
Once again we are in a ‘hinge’ time of year when spring is leaving and we look forward to summer time with longer sunny days, outdoor gatherings, youth mission trips, Vacation Bible School, vacation plans, and perhaps time to pull back and enjoy nature’s beauty.
