I’m excited that we will have the opportunity to lead our church in worship on Sunday, the 12th! We need all of the youth to participate – as this is WHO WE ARE! We’ll need help with greeters, ushers, speakers, music, etc. Stay on top of this communication. We’ll be talking about this during Youth Group and Sunday School! Yahoo!
SUCCESSFUL – PARKER TASK FORCE FOOD DONATION DAY!
Three of our youth braved the winter storm last Saturday at the Parker Safeway on April 16 and we collected 14 boxes of food and a little over $130 in cash and gift card donations. Thank you to Emma Sheffield, Sarah Pope and Alan Woodruff for working BOTH time slots and raising awareness and food and money for a great organization – The Parker Task Force!
16 YEAR OLD FINLAND BOY NEEDS HOST FAMILIES
The Rotary Club of Parker is sponsoring, for a school year, a fine 16 year old male from Finland who will be attending Ponderosa High School as a junior. Three host families are needed to care for him during the period from about August 5 – June 30 at about 3.5 months each. It is not necessary for a host family to have children at home, however children present will benefit this youth. If you’re interested please write or call Mike Oldham of our church at [email protected] or call 303-453-9067 and he will provide you with more details.
GREETERS NEEDED
Volunteers for 1 church service, once per month, greet for 20 minutes. We have a few openings for the 8 and 9:30 services. Even substitutes would be great. Anyone interested, please contact Jamalyn Ackley: [email protected] (preferred) or 303-570-1745
YOUTH PHOTOS
If you’re attending an event and see our youth, get a picture and send it to me! Let’s recognize them in ALL they do
